2004 OFFICIAL RULES

THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS INTENDED ONLY FOR PERSONS 13 OR OLDER WHO ARE RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES (EXCEPT PUERTO RICO) AND ARE LOCATED IN THEIR STATES OF RESIDENCE AT TIME OF ENTRY.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. MANY WILL ENTER. FEW WILL WIN. VOID IN PUERTO RICO AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

1. TO ENTER: Beginning June 24, 2004 at 12:00:01 a.m. EST through September 5, 2004 at 11:59:59 p.m. EST (the "Sweepstakes Period"), obtain a Projekt Revolution music sampler (the "Sampler") available for free at participating retail stores as listed on www.projektrevolution.com, with the purchase of a Projekt Revolution Tour ticket and at various Linkin Park events, click on the sweepstakes link on the Sampler and complete the form provided to enter the sweepstakes. You may also enter by logging on to www.projektrevolution.com and following the instructions to enter the sweepstakes. Each submission, regardless of method of entry, will be referred to in these Official Rules as an "Entry" or "Entries." In order for Entries to be valid, entrant must click on the "I ACCEPT" button on the entry page. Entries must be submitted electronically during the Sweepstakes Period and received no later than September 6, 2004 at 11:59:59 p.m. EST. No facsimiles allowed. Sponsor is not responsible for malfunctions of electronic equipment, computer hardware or software; for lost, late, illegible, stolen, damaged, incomplete or misdirected Entries; or for any other technical problems related to website entries. Limit one Entry per person and/or email address. All Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.

2. ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the U.S. (except Puerto Rico) who are 13 years old or older at the time of entry and had Internet access as of June 23, 2004. Linkin Park, LLC and its affiliates and subsidiaries and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents ("Sponsor and its agents") and members of their immediate families and people living in the same household of each are not eligible.

3. WINNER SELECTION: Twenty (20) winners will be selected on or about September 10, 2004 in a random drawing from all eligible Entries received. The drawing will be conducted by Linkin Park or its designee, the judge of the sweepstakes whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the sweepstakes. Winners will be notified by certified or overnight mail and potential winners may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility/liability and publicity release which must be received by Sponsor within 14 days of the date on the notification, or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. If any winner is 13 or older, as required, but a minor in his or her state of residence, the winners parent or legal guardian must sign all required documents. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in the prize being forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

4. PRIZES (20): A pair of Clientele Remix shoes designed by Mike Shinoda. ARV: $89. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries received. Many will enter. Few will win. Prizes will be delivered to winners at the address provided on the entry form. Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes applicable to the acceptance and use of his/her prize. All prizes will be awarded. No prize substitutions or cash equivalents, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. If prize becomes unavailable or cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to provide a cash payment or substitute a prize of comparable value. Prizes are non-transferable. Limit of one prize per person, household or address.

5. GENERAL: By entering, entrants agree to: (a) release the Sponsor and its agents from all liability, injuries, loss and/or damage of any kind arising from their participation in the sweepstakes and the acceptance, possession and use/misuse of any prize; (b) agree to be bound by the Official Rules, Sponsor's Privacy Policy and the decisions of the judges; and (c) give his or her express permission to be contacted by Sponsor by email, mail or phone. By submitting an Entry, entrant consents to the use of his/her name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation in all media worldwide, now known or hereafter developed (except if winner is a resident of TN or where otherwise prohibited by law). All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. If for any reason the sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection due to computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, human error, terrorism or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the sweepstakes and to select the winners based on the Entries received prior to the cancellation or termination. Sponsor also reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an Entry, the Entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the email account is registered. Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States and all claims must be resolved in the United States.

6. REMOVAL FROM FUTURE MAILINGS: To have your name and address removed from Sponsors future sweepstakes and contest mailings, please send your request to: Linkin Park, Removal From Mailing Lists, P.O. Box 36915, Los Angeles, CA 90036 Linkin Park will process your request within 60 days.

7. WINNERS' LIST: For a list of winners, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope, postmarked by September 5, 2004 to be received by September 12, 2004 to: DC Shoes Clientele Remix Sweepstakes, Winners' List, P.O. Box 36915, Los Angeles, CA 90036.
